Julián Alvarez Documentary
My debut as a documentary director. This CITY+ original tells the story of Julián Álvarez with honesty and heart brought to life through the trust of the Álvarez family, the support and advice of Leonardo Lucas, and the support of my incredible team.
A personal milestone and a collective achievement I’m proud to share.

Screening with Man Fans.

For this documentary, we interviewed top names including Sergio Agüero, Jack Grealish, and Tim Vickery. We travelled to Calchín, Julian’s hometown in Argentina, to bring his story to life, and I returned for the World Cup final to capture the celebrations on the ground. We also hosted a special screening with Manchester City fans, and the film became one of the most watched documentaries on City+.
My biggest takeaway from this project was the importance of building and maintaining trust with the player, allowing him to open up and share his story fully.
Together: Treble Winners
For this series, I filmed the entire Julián Álvarez section, going to his house to capture his comeback from Qatar with his World Cup medal. The docuseries, Together: Treble Winners, was released on Netflix, showcasing exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the squad during their historic 2022/23 season.

A Farewell to Txiki
I was the self-filming producer for this documentary, capturing the “Tast” dinner with Pep Guardiola, Ferran Soriano and Txiki, and following Txiki throughout an entire day to film with him and his family. This level of access was possible thanks to the trust we built over previous projects, which made both him and his family fully comfortable on camera.
I was also the co-editor of the documentary and the main editor of the traile rand I colour graded the entire film.
This project is a major highlight in my career it was produced to a premium standard look, acquired by Movistar, aired on Sky, and screened at the club with outstanding reviews.

Fernandinho: The Last Game
For this documentary, I was the camera operator, filming at Fernandinho’s house and following him through his final day with his family on the last day of the season. Capturing their reaction during the incredible 3–2 comeback against Aston Villa was one of the most exciting moments I’ve filmed — a truly unforgettable shot and memory.
I also filmed interviews with Txiki and edited major sections of the documentary, contributing to the overall structure and storytelling.

Life After Football
I was the camera operator and producer for this documentary, and I played a key role in the edit, taking charge of all the Fernandinho segments under the guidance of Leonardo Lucas.
This project explores the emotional and practical challenges players face when their careers end, featuring exclusive access to Fernandinho as he contemplates retirement, along with stories from Paul Lake, Jacob Wright, David Brightwell, Nedum Onuoha and Steph Houghton. It’s a powerful and emotional piece that sheds light on what comes after the final whistle.

How Oscar Bobb Came Back
For this documentary, I was the camera operator, capturing all the key moments of Oscar Bobb’s journey back to full fitness. From his breakthrough season and first goals in the Premier League and Champions League to his recovery from a fractured leg, I filmed behind-the-scenes access at the first team building and during his rehabilitation alongside the medical team. This documentary provides an in-depth, access-all-areas look at his determination and development.
Day to Day - A Black Lives Matter Short Film
This short film was a turning point for me. As co-producer, cinematographer, and editor, I learned to work closely with footballers and first-time speakers to capture honest, personal stories. Day to Day, filmed after the George Floyd protests, explores everyday racism in the UK through documentary and spoken-word storytelling. It taught me the importance of trust, sensitivity, and intentionality behind the camera lessons that continue to shape my work.
Naera
This was my first short documentary, where I served as editor, director, and producer. I followed Naera and his family, capturing his story of overcoming homophobia, abuse, and homelessness, and his dedication to helping those in need.
